Meet Jennifer Solis
PASTRY CHEF & OWNER
Founded by pastry chef Jennifer Solis, we make everything fresh from scratch—from traditional Peruvian desserts and empanadas to custom cakes, breads, cookies, and creamy ice cream. With each treat, we share our love for baking and the traditions that shaped us.
Born and raised in Lima, Peru, Jennifer Solis discovered her love for the culinary arts early on. After high school, she pursued formal training in culinary arts before moving to the United States to follow her dream. She continued her studies in Baking and Pastry Arts in New York, graduating with the skills and passion to make her vision a reality.
In June 2019, Jennifer opened the first Dolce Amore Sweets Peruvian Bakery storefront in Manassas. Today, she continues to share her passion for baking and her Peruvian heritage, one delicious bite at a time.
Jennifer began baking from home, creating Dolce Amore—“baked with love”—and sharing her Peruvian desserts with friends and neighbors. In 2014, she moved to Manassas, Virginia, and became a vendor at the Manassas Farmers Market, where she introduced people from all over the world to the flavors of Peru. Within two years, she was participating in five farmers markets across Northern Virginia, growing a loyal customer base.
